During the years 1985 to 1987, research was conducted on pistachio shells for the production of activated carbon. In the years 1987 to 1990, the factory carried out initial carbon pyrolysis production and testing of activated carbon. Through comprehensive research, the company has achieved technical knowledge in the production of activated carbon from pistachio shells. Over a three-year period of experimentation on pistachio shells, conducted by prominent professors from universities across the country, the company was able to acquire state-of-the-art equipment and secure the necessary raw materials from cities in the provinces of Kerman, Saveh, Feizabad Mashhad, and Neyriz in Fars province to produce this valuable and essential substance for the country.
